It’s a new year, 2012 is already in its first week! For many of us that means new years resolutions. A new year is a great time to start to add healthy habits into our daily lives. It’s a fabulous opportunity to try something new…Why not? Resolutions are goals that you want to improve about yourself. So what are your resolutions for the new year? How do you intend on keeping them?
This time of the year the gyms are packed, everyone’s eating healthy, and motivation is at its highest point. Then it simply stops. Why do people give up on their resolutions after two weeks into the new year? They become a distant thought. Mainly because people try to change too much too quick. Many people jump right into a whole new lifestyle, and it isn’t working for them. New habits should be added gradually into your daily lives. There are so many things that can be done to become a healthier person. Start small. Take it a day at a time. I challenge you to make ONE small change a week. Soon enough all of your small changes will turn into a healthy lifestyle that you can live with. Make it work for YOU. Remember that everyday is a new day, you get a fresh start! What will you change this week?
How will you turn your resolutions into a habit?
