June Foodie PenPal Reveal

Hi Friends!

My June Foodie Penpal was one of my favorites.  I was lucky enough go get paired up with my first friends I have made in the “Blogging” world.  All by chance!! My package came all the way from California from the lovely blogger Julie.  Julie blogs over at A Better Life with Burgers.   Her blog is so inspiring and uplifting! Check it out!! Remember when she made a guest appearance with her yummy recipe…

Julie, I can’t thank you enough for the AWESOME package you sent me.  THANK YOU. THANK YOU. THANK YOU!!! You ROCK!! :)

Julie sent me some really fabulous goodies.  In my package was 4 larabars (which are my favorite guilt free treat and on the go breakfast), a dark chocolate bar (always a solid choice and way to my heart), and the best surprise was a package of homemade peanut butter granola bars.  I wasted NO TIME eating those.  I had them as a snack…for breakfast…and just because! Mmmmm! There is just something so special about a homemade treat!

Check it out!

There you have it folks…My June Foodie Penpal reveal…I am sorry I was a little late in posting! Better late than never! Summer has been crazy busy.

Thanks again Julie!!!

-You will have until the 15th of the month to put your box of goodies in the mail. On the last day of the month, you will post about the goodies you received from your penpal!
-The boxes are to be filled with fun foodie things, local food items or even homemade treatsThe spending limit is $15The box must also include something written. This can be anything from a note explaining what’s in the box, to a fun recipe…use your imagination!

May Foodie Penpal Reveal

It’s the best day of the month…FOODIE PENPAL REVEAL DAY!
Time is FLYING by…May is here and almost gone, Crazy!
My Foodie Penpal this month was….Drum roll please…Alyson.  She is the lovely blogger from Alys adventures. And let me tell you, she spoiled me!! Thank you, thank you thank you to Alyson!!!
When I opened my package, I was shocked at all the goodies that she sent to me.  It was everything from an organic milk chocolate bar infused with hazelnut (which my mom and I devoured in a day) , wasabi flavored rice crackers (which were soooo different, but I LOVED!) , a few different breakfast bars, a jar of the best Jam from her hometown, a very thoughtful card…and even threw in a whole bag of chocolatey goodness that comes in the form of Bare Naked Granola.  There are too many goodies to list.  She really out did her self.  Take a look!
The best part…She sent me a very dangerous DELICIOUS recipe that I will be sharing with all of you very soon, she even sent a warning sign with it stating that you must have self-control while eating. It is a recipe for S’more bites.  It has everything you need for S’mores. Chocolate, marshmallows, and graham crackers.  Yes, you will be loving this recipe!   I haven’t made them yet, but anything that has those three ingredients, I am sold. I’ll keep you posted and you will all know when I make them.

Thank you again Alyson, you ROCK!!!

I would like to say a special THANK YOU to Lindsay, the author of  one of my favorite blogs, The Lean Green Bean, for creating The Foodie Pen Pal program.  Without you none of this would be.  And thanks to you…all bloggers, readers, and lovers of food across the world are being connected! Thank you!!
